Ekkhrono, the Time Assassin
A hero mod, introducing Ekkhrono, a stealthy Scout-Mage who excels at Stealth and Speed manipulation
This is a pre-release version, so not everything has been properly play-tested or balanced. Changes will be coming soon.
This hero has designed by @Ekkhrono.

Notes:
- What to do if Ekkhrono is not unlocked: Due to some jankiness of the way the code works, Ekkhrono is unlocked only for the profile that is open when you launch the game (and for new profiles). So if they aren't unlocked in the correct profile, switch to that profile, close the game and re-open it and they will be unlocked.
- There are no character events for Ekkhrono at this time beyond the ones that are available to all characters of a given class (such as pet trainers or healers being able to remove cards at Rest areas).
- Ekkhrono's selection location (in the Hero Selection screen) is intentionally in position 5 (the far right). I have not yet automated the process of placing characters, and this is to accommodate other heroes. If you wish to change this, you can access the
timeassassin.jsonfile and theOrderInListproperty with whatever you wish.
This mod relies on Obeliskial Content.
Traits and Starting

Level 1
- Ekkhronosphere: Immune to Slow. At the start of your turn, apply 1 Slow to all characters.
Level 2
Level 3
- Magic Knight: When you play a "Spell" card, permanently reduce the cost of the highest cost "Attack" card in your hand by 1. When you play an "Attack" card, permanently reduce the cost of the highest cost "Spell" card in your hand by 1. (2 times/turn)
- Chronomancer: Fast +1 and Slow +1. Slow on monsters can stack and increases all damage taken by 1 per charge..
Level 4
Level 5
- Arkanist Almighty: Dark +2, Mark +2, and Spark +2. All Damage done +25%.
- Greatest Invisibility: Stealth +2. Stealth on this hero cannot be purged. After playing a card while in Stealth, gain 1 Stealth instead of losing charges. (2 times/turn)
Installation (manual)
- Install Obeliskial Essentials and Obeliskial Content.
- Click Manual Download at the top of the page.
- In Steam, right-click Across the Obelisk and select Manage->Browse local files.
- Extract the archive into the game folder. Your Across the Obelisk folder should now contain a BepInEx folder and a doorstop_libs folder.
- Run the game. If everything runs correctly, you will see this mod in the list of registered mods on the main menu.
- Press F5 to open/close the Config Manager and F1 to show/hide mod version information.
- Note: I am not certain about these install instructions. In the worst case, just copy TheWiseWolf.dll into the BepInEx\plugins folder, and the Ekkhrono folder (the one with the subfolders containing the json files) into BepInEx\config\Obeliskial_importing
Installation (automatic)
- Download and install Thunderstore Mod Manager or r2modman.
- Click Install with Mod Manager button on top of the page.
- Run the game via the mod manager.
