AtO Endless

A roguelike endless mode for Across the Obelisk. After defeating the final boss, travel through an endless series of zones with scaling difficulty. How far can you go?

Features

Core Gameplay

• Endless Progression: After defeating the final boss, choose from random zones to continue your journey
• Tier-Based Scaling: Enemies scale with HP, damage, and speed bonuses starting at Tier 4
• Cycle System: Complete all zones to finish a cycle and face even greater challenges

Configuration Presets

Choose your playstyle at the start of each run:

• Classic: Standard endless experience with balanced rewards
• Power Fantasy: Maximum rewards with light enemy scaling
• Roguelite: Earn rewards gradually over time
• Survival: Minimal rewards, focus on endurance
• Boss Hunter: Every fight is a boss fight with Hydra mode
• Custom: Configure every option individually
• Player Presets: Save and load your own configurations

Reward Systems

• Perks: Gain random perks (stat bonuses, game perks, or both) after each zone
• Blessings: Receive powerful blessings at configurable intervals
• Transcendent Leveling: Level past 5 to unlock traits from both paths

Difficulty Options

• Enemy Scaling: Configure HP, damage, and speed scaling per tier
• Corruption Stacking: Enemies gain corruption effects as you progress
• Boss Modes:
  • Gauntlet: Face multiple random bosses before zone bosses (Tier 5+)
  • Hydra: Killing enemies has a chance to spawn a boss
  • Chaos: Both Gauntlet and Hydra combined
  • Random Bosses Only: Every encounter is a boss fight
• Boss Tier Bonuses: Zone bosses scale higher than regular enemies
• Gauntlet Escalation: Each gauntlet boss is stronger than the last

Zone Configuration

• Starting Zone: Choose which zone to start your endless run in
• Zone Count: Choose how many zone options appear (1 to All)
• Unique Zones: Visit each zone only once per cycle
• Require All Zones: Must complete all zones before cycling

Installation (Manual)

1. Click Manual Download at the top of the page
2. Extract the files from the .zip
3. Navigate to your BepInEx directory (Steam → Right-click Across the Obelisk → Manage → Browse local files)
4. Copy com.corgan.AtOEndless.dll from AtOEndless\BepInEx\plugins to AcrossTheObelisk\BepInEx\plugins

Installation (Mod Manager)

1. Download and install Thunderstore Mod Manager or r2modman
2. Click Install with Mod Manager button on top of the page
3. Run the game via the mod manager

Multiplayer

This mod is fully multiplayer compatible. All configuration choices are synced between players using deterministic seeding.
