Obeliskial Options
This is an Across the Obelisk mod that contains a number of options to alter gameplay.
Broadly speaking, this mod makes the game easier; I encourage you to try harder madness levels, corruption modifiers and personal challenges to re-balance the game.
Should be multiplayer-friendly, though all players must have the mod. The host’s settings will override other players’ for options in the below tables with MP Override = true.
Installation (manual)
- Install Obeliskial Essentials.
- Click Manual Download at the top of the page.
- In Steam, right-click Across the Obelisk and select Manage->Browse local files.
- Extract the archive into the game folder.
- Run the game. If everything runs correctly, you will see this mod in the list of registered mods on the main menu.
- Press F5 to open/close the Config Manager and F1 to show/hide mod version information.
Installation (automatic)
- Download and install Thunderstore Mod Manager or r2modman.
- Click Install with Mod Manager button on top of the page.
- Run the game via the mod manager.

Subclasses as at Sands of Ulminin release: mercenary, sentinel, berserker, warden, ranger, assassin, archer, minstrel, elementalist, pyromancer, loremaster, warlock, cleric, priest, voodoowitch, prophet, bandit, paladin, fallen. If you’re already in the hero selection screen, you need to leave and re-enter it to update the clones.

Developer Mode
When enabled, this:
- auto-unlocks all heroes in hero selection when they're clicked on;
- enables hotkeys:
- F1-F4: +150xp for heroes 1-4;
- F5: +400 gold;
- F6: +400 shards;
- F7: make changes to Sandbox Mode settings;
- F8: force save;
- F9: show lag simulator;
- F10: in tome: unlock all heroes | in combat: reload;
- F11: in tome: unlock cards | in corruption selector, moves to next corruption;
- F12: in map or town, opens item creator | in combat: open card creator | in hero selection screen, opens weekly selector;
- 1-4: in hero selection screen, increase rank of heroes 1-4;
- . (period): open console; and
- , (comma): enable/disable debug view;
- allows you to travel to any node, I think?;
- shows another button for monster cards in tome; and
- makes town upgrades free.

Adjusted Bad Luck Protection scaling for the umpteenth time. I recommend setting this to ~10 if you make many rerolls (>50) in a town, and to ~300 if you make few (<5).
Emotional now allows you to use any character's emotes, not just those in the party.
Emotional now allows you to put a character's emote on multiple cards at once.
Emotional now allows you to put emotes on cards in the Look screen.
Leaderboard entries now send version number, seed hash and team. These can't yet be easily viewed by clients; this is just prepwork for making full 'Past Games'-style leaderboard entries!
