FRIENDS OF LAVVO 2

This mod for Balatro intends to mimic the style of the Friends Of Jimbo content packs, featuring some of my personal favorite anime this time around! Below you can see what series represent each suit. NOTE: This mod requires the mod DeckSkinsLite, which can be found here: https://github.com/Kekulism/DeckSkinsLite

Install Instructions:

Move the "FriendsOfLavvo5.lua" - "FriendsOfLavvo8.lua" files into the /skins/ folder at %Appdata%/Balatro

Move the "1x" and "2x" folders into the %Appdata%/Balatro/Mods/DeckSkinsLite/Assets folder.

SPADES - Princess Tutu

The Spades are represented by Drosselmeyer, Princess Tutu herself, and Fakir. An anime I only recently watched, but with a very short run of 26 episodes, it is an anime I simply must reccomend. Don't let the title fool you, this is a heartwrenching tale told through ballet and lovely magical girl heroism.

HEARTS - Mob Psycho 100

The Hearts are represented by Mob, Dimple, and Reigen from Mob Psycho. Fun fact: I haven't even finished this series yet, so this was made with only season 1 in mind. Even still, season 1 was a trip and a half and I adored every second of it, Reigen becoming one of my favorite characters in fiction ever.

CLUBS - Osomatsu-san

The Clubs are represented by all six Matsuno brothers, Osomatsu and Choromatsu on the King, Karamatsu and Todomatsu on the Queen, and Jyushimatsu and Ichimatsu on the Jack. One of the greatest comedy anime I've ever watched, I cannot recommend it enough. If I were to do a "second wave" of Osomatsu cards, they would focus on the bigger side characters, specifically Iyami, Chibita, and Totoko.

DIAMONDS - Bobobo-Bo Bo-bobo

The Diamonds are represented by Bobobo, Don Patch, and Tokoro Tennosuke (Otherwise known as Jelly Jiggler). This was one of the first anime I ever watched, along with Sgt. Frog, and both really helped form my sense of humor and love of Absurdist Comedy. It's a shame the anime never finished the story, I would've loved to see Shinsetsu Bo-bobo fully realized in anime form.
