This mod requires the following mods to function
BepInEx-BepInExPack_GTFO
BepInEx pack for GTFO. Preconfigured and includes Unity Base DLLs.
Preferred version: 3.2.1Brandonious-Player_Spawn_Apart
[For Rundown Devs] Finally, a level where the players split up.
Preferred version: 1.0.0GTFOModding-PaintTheDoor
(Rundown Dev MOD) Disposable Painters allocated to re-paint the Security Doors in the Complex.
Preferred version: 1.0.5README
Divide
Divide is a Duos rundown, playable by two people. Currently only one level, created for the Standalone Level Competition #2. There may be more in the future.
The current only level, DIV-A1
, has gone for a vanilla-B-to-C tier difficulty.
Quick notes:
You need to have at least one player in an odd-numbered slot, and an even-numbered slot. Meaning, you need someone in the first and second slot, or first and fourth, or second and third, or third and fourth. Just trust me on this one.
LocalProgression
is a dependency mainly for the Return the Lobby button fix, but otherwise is because I may make more in the future.
Thanks
Extreme thanks to randomuserhi for making the plugin required for A1 to exist. They also have helped me a lot with testing, as well as adding various miscellaneous related features to said plugin whenever I had a random idea come to mind. They also sat in a call with me for ~6 hours, in what was supposed to be a short test of the level, which turned into them fixing something from the vanilla game they had expressed moderate amounts of disinterest at trying to fix (not even at my request, mind you), so that the level could function even better.
In addition, they also helped with testing the level a lot, and gave a bunch of ideas for it as well, so serious, huge huge thanks to them!
To summarize, the level would not exist without their help in numerous fashions.
In honor of it:
In the darkened depths where shadows sprawl,
Where fear takes root and echoes call,
There lies a game, a harrowing quest,
GTFO, where survival's put to the test.
Within this realm of chilling dread,
A mod emerged, a thread to tread,
A whispered rumor, a secret shared,
Of double-sided doors, a feature rare.
In corridors deep, where monsters lurk,
And every step could lead to murk,
The modders toiled, their code refined,
To alter the game of the brave and confined.
No longer constrained by one-way doors,
Players now faced new strategic shores,
For every entrance became an avenue,
A pathway out, a chance to pursue.
Yet with this boon came added fright,
For what lies beyond each threshold's sight?
Double-sided doors, a double-edged blade,
Where safety's illusion may quickly fade.
Through these portals, players tread,
Their heartbeats loud, their senses led,
Into the unknown, where terror thrives,
In GTFO's chilling, unforgiving dives.
They navigate the labyrinthine halls,
Heeding each echo, each eerie call,
With double-sided doors, they carve their way,
Through darkness deep, where nightmares sway.
Each step a dance with destiny,
In GTFO's world of grim decree,
Where modders' craft, with skill and art,
Brings new dimensions to the players' part.
So in the echoing chambers, they advance,
Through perilous paths, they take their chance,
With double-sided doors, a twist profound,
In GTFO's abyss, where fear is crowned.
