README

TumorShadowFix

  • enables shadows on anything with "tank", "birther" or "shadow" in their name.
  • enables shadows on any enemy that has a tumor attached.
  • since r6(?), tank/birther tumors have never cast shadows. with this they do.
  • every enemy in game can be changed in the enemy datablock to a shadow by including a case insensitive "shadow" in its name, "Shadow_MegaMother" for example.
  • might lower FPS, buy a 486 :) (boomer inside joke, don't laugh)
  • compatible with eec mostly. interference's shadow babies were very janky tho, your mileage may vary.
  • can be configured to plop tumors back visible if player is within a 24deg cone behind enemy.
  • TumorShadowFix_example.cfg provided, copy to TumorShadowFix.cfg and configure before first launch.
