README

Local Multiplayer is HERE!!!

The Accessibility Update

READ THIS ALL THE WAY THROUGH.

Howdy all, this is a tutorial to get you oriented with the local multiplayer mod or LAMBDA (Local Area Multiplayer with Brodcasting Downloaded Afterwards). There are several sections including Internet Safety, the General Tutorial, and Keybinds. Make sure LSIIC is NOT ENABLED. LSIIC is currently incompatible with this mod. Some of the keybinds for that mod will conflict with this mod and you’ll have a bad time.

SAFETY CONCERNS FOR NETWORKED LOCAL MULTIPLAYER
READ THESE TO MAKE SURE YOU DON'T SEVERELY DAMAGE YOUR COMPUTER OR COMPROMISE YOUR ONLINE SAFETY

Since this mod is capable of being used with software that can connect you to other players there are some MAJOR safety concerns that you need to be prepared for. I’m going to go over safely connecting with a program called Parsec but these rules should be followed for any program you use. Remember that disobeying these rules can SEVERELY DAMAGE YOUR COMPUTER and compromise your online safety.

I am not responsible if you choose not to follow these guidelines.

  • Giving access to your computer can allow people to steal your private information such as bank account passwords, social security numbers, and other important data. Only do this with someone you trust, like a friend or family member. Do NOT give anyone you don’t personally know access to your computer. This includes your online friends and other people you “know”. You don’t know them, don’t give them access.

  • Do NOT give keyboard, mouse, gamepad, or viewing access to any other program outside of H3VR

  • Do NOT begin a streaming session unless H3VR is already fully running, WAIT UNTIL THE MOD CONSOLE HAS DISAPPEARED!!! Then verify that H3 is the only allowed program. This may require a restart of Parsec, if it does then make sure to close parsec through the task manager and reopen it.

  • MAKE SURE H3 IS FULLSCREEN! Parsec allows people to see other windows that are visible around H3 if it’s not full-screened.

  • For a full rundown of how to make allowed apps on Parsec here’s the documentation link.

General Tutorial

Welcome to the tutorial. Here we’ll discuss how to use the mod to play H3 on the same computer as your buddy. General use of the mod is as follows, Once the player enters the scene you want to play around in, press the \ or “backlash” button to spawn a drone. Using the keyboard and mouse, move the drone around until you see a sosig you want to control.

When in the drone you might notice a blue arrow. That points towards the player. It’s hidden when possessing a sosig because you can’t cheat like that, come on, it’s an unfair advantage.

You might also notice the numbers in the bottom left of your screen. That’s the player’s current health. Use it to apply to Faze clan for your trick-shotting ability or to say that the other player is cheating when “that shot totally hit you”.

  • Possessing a sosig

    • Press the button assigned to enter the sosig (default is E) while the crosshair is on one to begin possessing a sosig body.

    • To stop possessing the sosig press your end possession button (default is Q) Walking your sosig

WASD moves the sosig around but he doesn’t like to go down stairs for some reason.

Holding down the sprint button (default is shift) makes the sosig move faster. Who’d have thought?

Fighting with the sosig

To shoot your sosigun press the left mouse button. Your shots aren’t really going where you’re looking huh?

To aim out of hipfire, hold down right click, this makes the sosig weapon point towards the crosshair. Be careful not to aim at yourself, that could be deadly.

Press your throw button (default is T) to throw your melee weapons, or, if you don’t have any melee weapons, to throw your regular weapon if you feel like disarming yourself.

To throw grenades on your belt press the grenade button (default is G).

Equipping items and misc interactions

To equip a sosigun from the floor press the Equip button (default is F). Make sure to be looking SPECIFICALLY at the hand point you’d grab if you were the player, you might not be able to grab it otherwise.

To make your sosig speak press 1, 2, or 3 on the number bar above the keyboard. 1 is for skirmish phrases, 2 is for wander phrases, and 3 is for investigation phrases.

Crazy Mode

Don’t enable crazy mode. If you do you’re crazy, it’s untested and you WON’T get the prophunt experience you think you will.

CRAZY MODE

Not super supported but it lets you possess a lot of objects in the world. It doesn't let you do this to all of them but hopefully you'll find some fun with what it currently can do.
