README
The Geweher 1888 was the first smokless powder repeating rifle adopted by the German Empire. The original version used five round en-bloc clips, though an updated version, the Gewehr 88/05 used the same five-round stripper clips as the later Mauser rifles. The Gewehr 1888 was used as a rear echelon rifle in WWI, and a version of it had been adopted in the Republic of China as their main infantry rifle.
Note that on the Gewehr 1888, you need to manually eject the clip by pressing the Mag Release button (touchpad down on classic controls, or A Button on streamlined controls).
