Between the fall of the Qing Dynasty and the establishment of the PRC, China imported much of their firearms from Europe. However, they also produced a great many of domestic copies, each with their own quirks.
The Thompson was one of the most popular SMGs used in China, with some arsenals making their own version. This copy was made by the 21st Arsenal in Sichuan province, chambered in 7.63x25mm Mauser.
