The Quad Derringer chambered in .50 Remington from Hunt: Showdown!

Okay so this is kind of a solution to a pet peeve I have with derringers lol. This is a good bit more scaled up than the original model to fit the .50 Remington rounds, but I felt like we already had plenty of small caliber derringers and I wanted one that could actually headshot a sosig without much effort. A body shot still requires at least two shot to kill, which is also pretty close to Hunt: Showdown's kill speed.

You can load the gun in two different ways, one is with a button to open the barrels like the pepperbox, and another is to grab the barrels with your off hand and open it like a M203 grenade launcher. I basically copied that functionality over and it works pretty well in my opinion. Very satisfying reloads.

Also, protip, if you carefully open the barrels between fully open and closed, you can pull individual rounds out and replace them without dumping all four rounds.

QUAD DERRINGER PISTOL. (See also, PISTOL) A four-shot palm pistol, the Derringer is easy to carry and often considered more tool than weapon. A Derringer is generally defined as the smallest usable handgun for any given caliber of ammunition. Though the original design was for a single-shot, single-barrel firearm, this particular variation quadruples the weapon's firing power without adding significantly to its weight.

The term "derringer" is actually a misspelling of the last name of Henry Deringer, a manufacturer of small pistols. The gun was so popular that it was often copied, and the name has become the common term for any small firearm. Though easy to carry, it is not an offensive weapon as its shot is quickly spent, it is slow to reload, and it is accurate only in close range.
