MXR-17 Battle Rifle
I keep calling it the Rampart it just rolls of the tongue. MXR-17 makes me think MX9 but this wasn't made by Kuhn and Schmidt?! Reist? Who's Reist??
I like lore on weapons, maybe a little too much, cuz I'd like to keep tabs on these things, these decals allow me to look into the world the devs envisioned. Seeing the connections snipped off crossing from BO4 to BO7 is, well, annoying to me. Then in comes the Maddox with near 90% accuracy and, damn, now I'm even more annoyed they didn't do the same justice for this rifle.
Otherwise, this weapon otherwise performs the same as the BO4 counterpart, prioritizing damage over ROF, rewarding those who could aim well. I have had a wonderful time with the headshot barrel on this gun, two shot kills galore, makes for a powerhouse and lotsa feeds. Yep, that feels like a Rampart alright.
