README

Becker Revolving Shotgun

First concieved in 1899, the Becker Revolving Shotgun is one of the earliest designs for a semi-automatic shotgun. Unlike the Browning Auto-5, its long-recoil contemporary, the Becker utilizes an extremely unique blow-forward revolver action to provide one 16 gauge shell for each pull of the trigger.

To operate the Becker, follow these steps:

  • Prime the barrel by pulling it forward
  • Insert a shell into the cylinder through the loading gate
  • Wind the cylinder counterclockwise by grabbing and twisting with your hand
  • Insert and wind until you reach the final plugged-up chamber (5 rounds total)
  • Toggle the safety and fire!
  • After you stop firing and want to reload, use the ejector rod to manually punch out the final spent cartridge
  • Recock the barrel if needed and insert/wind

The price and complexity of this system compared to the Auto-5 or other contemporaries is, unsurprisingly, immense. But at least it's cool!

CHANGELOG

1.0.1 - 2/11/2026

  • Moved safety input from A/X to B/Y button for Streamlined controls
  • Increased cylinder unwinding speed, which should prevent the Becker from misfiring when shot too quickly
