CB-9 Exploding Crossbow (From Helldivers 2)
At first glance, a crossbow weapon is a laughably out-of-date piece of kit for the state-of-the-art SEAF arsenal. However, this design has two main advantages over a conventional firearm: it's silent, and its bolts can hold substantial payloads for their size. The final pieces of the puzzle are quick-swappable 5-round cassetes of bolts a recoil-operated mechanism to allow for semi-automatic operation! The final result, the CB-9 Exploding Crossbow, is lightweight, stealthy, and extremely powerful. What's not to like?
