AC42 -- "Cat Caller" NEXXXT
PianocatVR, or 피아노캣 in his local tongue. A mute prankster. A great dancer. Seemingly retired from such scenes nowadays, but I've gathered plenty with my Article Project. This is a fair shoutout to him.
Yes. I slapped a PNG on a BF 2042 skin. This was also just an experiment to see how well I can digest BF2042's awful meshes / textures. The answer is never again.
To others who want to implement BF2042 weapons. The mesh UVs all need to be mirrored (Y Mirror specifically) in order for the textures to map properly with the textures. This is from the P3DM source of BF meshes, the mesh ripper did a disservice by mapping the meshes wrong.
Even then, the meshes are dislocated all over the place as well, so in order to handle those, merge UVs in order to use the L hotkey at its best.
Includes a low tier all black AC42, moving on to other things now byeeeee.
