NERF Mega Centurion Blaster
This marvelous blaster was the flagship of the MEGA subseries all the way back in 2013 and... 2013? Man, I feel old now. Others may have had their darts chewed up by this beast but when I got my hands on this blaster I sure as hell loved it.
Hacksawing the bottom bit so I could have both the bipod and the Retaliator foregrip, buying Buzz Bee XL blasters for their compatible magazines (because Hasbro didn't bother making magazine packs for these what the Hell Hasbro), nabbing a scope from the now shut down K-Mart that was walking distance from where I was, by using my car keys as knives to open up the packaging from an overpriced Zombiestrike Longshot, just for the scope... Sorry, got a little too personal there.
In the end I sold the Centurion with all its custom parts for a decent price, but doing so left a black hole in my mind, reminding me of how good the Centurion was... I ended up getting the SONIC ICE version years later, and its one of the few blasters that sits next to my bed, as a distraction when I'm working on Unity Editor.
Well, now its here in H3VR! I wanted to give it as much oomph as I could, for the fans of the Centurion who have similar stories to mine. From the checks to the extra magazines, it's been given an elevated platform to really stand up to the occassion!
Bolt lock and mag lock related checks if you have primed the blaster, as well as the top cover needing some proper force to open and close, the checks in place do help in simulating the blaster, but I wasn't able to get all the checks I wanted to work. In fact, because of how strange this blaster is wired up, don't be surprised when you break the simulation by accident. Lets just say if you accidentally lock the blaster, just pull the trigger to unlock it.
Still fun in all sorts of ways, this'll be the platform of the NERF bolt actions coming up. I'd like to work on some other blueprints beforehand though... Wish me luck.
