Tokar-2 "Liminal Influenza" NEXT
I'm so so excited to share this, another dualfeed LMG, this one being one for the Russian ammo type. Basically a Russian M249 SAW in all the right senses. I wanted to gift this to Devyn, for their modpack focusing on prototype weapons was a favorite of mine, I had asked around a month before he decided to move away.
This was in my folders for a year, prototyped at around December 2022, and it was in a better spot compared to the FN EVOLYS, but it wasn't released because of belt related issues.
Instead, it was made a hidden reward for those who ventured deep within the secrets of the Space Race because of my own impatience, but now with these issues solved, the Tokar-2 is officially released for H3VR.
Burrowing some parts from the MW '19 PKM to make the internals, its borderline silly if you look deeper into it. That being said, its a fun gun to play with, the dualfeed systems feel great, and I'm happy to have been the one to implement it.
As for the skin, its based off of Alex Kister's take on the Backrooms, turning a 4chan thread into a whole unfiction series with incredibly realistic blender sequences. The monster, known as "Bacteria", the backrooms wallpaper, and the grafitti of the series is whats primarily found on this skin.
I think in time, Alex Kister will show even bigger projects with heavier impact (such examples include his latest hit "The Older View"), but Backrooms was a big unfiction hit and it had to be included in this Hall of Fame NGS series.
Sources and Credits
The skin is inspired by The Backrooms, specifically the series made by Alex Kister.
