README

HELP UKRAINIANS DEFEND THEMSELVES FROM RUSSIA'S INVASION!

Donate to Come Back Alive, a foundation which provides armor, thermal scopes, drones, and other equipment for Ukraine's military.

Dangerous mutants, deadly anomalies, sausages and wieners - face all of these dangers on your journey to the heart of the Zone!

Inspired by everybody's favorite semi-apocalyptic Ukrainian video game series. Fight a variety of enemies with iconic equipment from the series, including custom-built upgraded weaponry and occasional items from the most popular mods.

The path will be treacherous, so make sure to collect whatever mysterious artifacts you find along the way. Be warned - limited ammo mode pulls no punches.

Changelog

2.2.0

  • Added new encryption types
  • Added reflex sights for 2 tokens, available after 2nd hold (since they'll appear in Stalker 2)
  • Split scopes, reflex sights, and underbarrel GLs into separate categories for NATO vs Warsaw Pact mounts (indicated by NATO compass rose vs hammer and sickle), so you don't waste tokens on items that won't fit your gun
  • Added AI-2 medkit as starting gear and as an item to buy for 2 tokens
  • Added M700 (under bolt-action pool) and IWI Carmel (NATO assault rifles), since they'll appear in Stalker 2
  • Swapped from modded to vanilla PKM
  • L85 will now spawn with a SUSAT attached
  • Fixed a bug where buying a Nimble sniper rifle could spawn just the scope and rangefinder if you didn't have the mod for the rifle itself installed
  • Updated Lynx to use NotWolfie's updated ModulSVD
  • Fixed Chaser 13
  • Zombies are a little less bullet-spongy

2.1.4

  • Added just a smidge more variety to starting weapons (still biased towards classic rookie gear though)
  • Fixed some bugs with PKM 2, H416, Dragunov/VSS/SVU spawning, and with some sosigs in endless mode (Thank you to O-Deka-K!)
  • Added LR300

2.1.3

  • Updated readme to link to modpack
  • Fixed an easter egg gun to make sure it spawned with mags

2.1.2

  • Added TOZ-34, TOZ-66, and P220
  • Added weapons shown in Stalker 2 trailers (MAC-10, Malyuk, HK416, Kiparis, M14)
  • Added occasional Fort-500 and TOZ-194M from BINGUS Shotguns (for more variety)

2.1.1

  • Added 7.62x39mm "AKM-74-2U", true to the AKS-74U's 7.62 mags in the original games. 5.45mm AKS74U is still there too, don't worry.
  • A few less patrolling bandits before the first wave
  • Fixed STANAG guns, they'll spawn with mags again
  • Fixed LR300 lookalike
  • M203 is now picatinny version, so you can mount it on SG550 or LR300

2.1.0

  • Added support for PKM 2 (the belted version)
  • Tracksuits!
  • Some minor changes to equipment and drop rates from sosigs
  • Minor tweaks to enemy spawns (slightly less bandit overload in one wave)
  • Fixed implementation of Storm (it now spawns with a mag of API like other Nimble weapons)
  • Less supply points in later holds (so it's not quite as exhausting)

2.0.0

  • Added Fort 12 pistol and updated Groza
  • Toned down number of enemies, especially in earlier holds
  • Updated enemy equipment

1.0.8

  • Pump shotguns won't be offered in the spawner in later holds
  • Sniper rifles should now properly spawn with scopes
  • 1911 won't spawn with extended mags anymore (can still upgrade to them at mag change stations tho)

1.0.7

  • Hand grenades are now cheaper and more common
  • Shotguns are cheaper
  • All artifacts are now 2 tokens, regardless of type
  • Слава Україні

1.0.6

  • ACTUALLY fixed min level of upgraded sniper rifles
  • Added a little more variety to some weapon pools (a few more items from popular Stalker mods, to spawn rarely)
  • Minor changes to endless mode
  • Underbarrel launchers now only cost 2 tokens instead of 3

1.0.5

  • Fixed starting tokens and min level of some weapons (forgot to reset them after testing 1.0.4 whoops)

1.0.4

  • Upgraded sniper rifles now spawn with a rangefinder, plus one of Ashes' Tarkov optics if you have that installed
  • Suppressors now only cost 2 tokens and scopes only 1
  • Backpacks are a bit more common
  • Added PB pistol and replaced SVU with Devyn's new version

1.0.3

  • Added backpacks as a 1 token equipment option
  • Added Bullet Boost to artifact pool (missed it earlier lmao)
  • A couple minor additions to endless mode
  • Gave Val/9x39 category its own icon for clarity
  • Toned down spawn cadence of some holds, just a smidge. You'll still get swarmed if you aren't careful tho
  • Fixed implementation of ModulVal items
  • PPSh-41 Tech Drum should no longer spawn

1.0.2

  • Reworked zombie health and stagger factor
  • Reduced spawn rate of wien- I mean artifacts
  • Made the endgame a little harder (more and tougher enemies, more targets)
  • Rearranged assault rifle pools (NATO = Assault Rifle icon, Warsaw Pact = Carbine icon)
  • 10 round mags won't spawn for AS VAL at mag stations anymore
  • Monolith veterans are now immune to suppression (za monolit!)
  • Lowered price of some artifacts

1.0.1:

  • Made zombie outfits consistent, so each individual zombie looks like it's from a particular faction instead of just having a random selection of gear
  • Adjusted bandit outfits
  • Adjusted Viper 5's fire modes
  • A few minor changes in equipment pools and their distribution
  • Fixed update numbering because I'm a doofus
