Fusil Automático Doble (FAD) Bullpup Assault Rifle
The Fusil Automático Doble (FAD) is a Peruvian bullpup assault rifle chambered for 5.56×45 mm NATO, the FAD was first produced in 2008 as part of an effort to develop an indigenous service rifle to replace their aging stock and to have their own local weapons productions.
The rifle feeds from standard STANAG Magazins and its unique feature was its underside charging handle and its off-set magazine insert.
Not much is known about the FAD itself or if there are further developments for the rifle.
The bullpup features hidden rails at the top for optics; as well as one hidden rail on each side for additional mountings of attachment, with also the ability to accept muzzle devices. The iron sights can be folded down when not in used.
