ModulATHENA (Drake Associates Athena Chassis for ModulAR2)
It looks like one of those goofy post 2000s cool XM-8 style rifle but it's actually a monolithic chassis. The ATHENA from Drake Associates is a chassis-style rifle built around an AR-pattern semi-auto system and are made for precision shooting thanks to its free-floating chassis. Introduced around SHOT Show 2020, the ATHENA had gone through a few iterations, with some going from Drake Associates to Springfield (From many sources, it was a licensing work)
Due to the way how the chassis behaves, the only available option is to have its own receiver, thus the handguard is not changable, as well as a few parts being limited in terms of modularity, but thanks to its design, the rifle is more accurate than many of its counterparts.
