README

Warner & Swasey M1903 Telescopic Musket Scope

One of the first few high power magnification scope for sniper rifles. Issued to a few units of snipers in few countries like Canada and the US, for their Ross rifle and Springfield 1903, the 5.2x magnification scope was not so well liked but paved its way to better scope development in the future.

The chunky offset scope was designed in such a way that one can accept stripper clip feeding or manual feeding without being hindered by the scope.

This scope, similar to my Malcolm scope mod, is muzzle mounted, which makes use of Cityrobo's amazing Placeanywhere style script (Please support him and drop him a Ko-Fi for his wonderful work!) to make it more universal to be used on other firearms.

The knobs on the side aren't for show but for zeroing and windage adjustments. Another little extra neat thing is the front of the lens have a small trigger point for you to switch to either having eyecup or no eye-cup, as realistic the eyecup was so bad that most snipers just ditch it outright or replaced it with something less skin-suction-y.
