What can loadouts do?

Loadouts are not nearly as powerful as challenges, but they can do a wider variety of things compared to starter decks.

Loadouts can:

  • Change the usual 3 items you start with to any selection of 3 or fewer items
  • Change the non-starter deck cards that you begin a run with (pelts)
  • Change the first node of the first map to something other than trading in pelts
  • Make you start with a pre-assembled totem, a selection of totem pieces, or both
  • Make you start with more than 0 teeth
  • Make it so that you always start on a specific map
  • Make you start the run with one or more boons
