README

TVF's Multiplayer Mod

This mod allows for local hotseat multiplayer in Act 2. Please note that most other mods will NOT be compatible with this one unless they specifically state that they are compatible. The only things that are guaranteed to work are the vanilla Act 2 cards.

How to use

When you launch the game with this mod installed, you will be brought to the act select screen instead of the start menu.

  • Step 1: Select Act 2 from the menu

The intro sequence will be skipped and you will immediately be on the starting island.

  • Step 2: Walk up to either the starter deck on the left and select it

Instead of selecting a starter deck, this will bring you to the deck editing screen, where you will have access to 10 of each card.

  • Step 3: Build your deck and exit the deck editor, then have Player 2 build the other deck on the right

Upon exiting the deck editor when both decks have at least 20 cards each, a prompt will appear asking you whether you want to start a battle.

  • Step 4: Click the button to start the battle.

The battle will start. A text box will appear informing you which player's turn it is.

  • Step 5: Let the player whose turn it is play their cards, then once the bell is rung, pass to the other player

That's more or less everything you need to know. Enjoy!
