BACKPORT
This is a backport to the 1.1.0 version of Persistent Purchases, I and seemingly a some other people in the github issues for the original mod ran into an issue where with the 1.2.0 version of the mod the game gets stuck on the YOU ARE FIRED screen. I made this branch because I didn't want to be constantly shown an update prompt in r2modman when using the original mod. I will make sure to depreciate this mod and change the description to prompt to uninstall it and switch back to the original when I notice the original has been fixed.
