Makron was heralded for it's lush ecosystem, but word spread of massive gold deposits near its surface, and was subsequently mined out. Massive industrial complexes dotting the surface refining, digging and extracting the precious metal have left the once green moon a Wasteland, polluted beyond recovery. Only the hardiest of specimens survive, and aggressively hunt whatever life they can get their jaws on. Try not to fall in the sludge for your own safety.
