README
Scary Coil Head Version: 0.5.0 (work in progress)
The Scary Coil Head Mod is designed to enhance the thrill of your gaming experience by introducing a more menacing behavior to the Coil Heads. With this mod, Coil Heads now have a random chance of pursuing you or your crewmates when you catch their gaze. Importantly, during this pursuit phase, they will not cause harm.
In the current implementation if a player is staring at the coil head there is a near 100% chance it will move towards you. Better keep moving!
Changes/ Fixes with v0.5.0
- The mod now properly modifies the CoilHead AI allowing for proper pathfinding. The previous version the AI could get stuck navigating around obstacles and stairs. Networking has also been fixed to properly use the CoilHead's Rpc methods to improve synchronization across the server.
Planned Updates
- Introduction of settings to cutsomize the chance of movement and the distance covered
- Configurable attack feature
Acknowledgments Speacial thanks to AmesBoys for his invaluable assistance with the networking aspects. For those seeking an even more daunting enemy in their game, I recommend checking out his mod ImmortalSnail.
