README

Scary Coil Head Version: 1.0.0

The Scary Coil Head Mod is designed to enhance the thrill of your gaming experience by introducing a more menacing behavior to the Coil Heads. With this mod, Coil Heads now have a random chance of pursuing you or your crewmates when you catch their gaze. Importantly, during this pursuit phase, they will not cause harm unless toggeled on.

In the current implementation if a player is staring at the coil head there is a near 100% chance it will move towards you. Better keep moving!

What's New v1.0.0 This new update brings custom toggles for both allowing the Coil Head to attack and changing how often the Coil Head moves when looking at it. The attack probability is setup to dynamically increase based off how many players are looking at it, this aims to add another strategic layer to the game, encouraging players to be more cautious around the coil heads and communicate with their teammates on how to handle an encounter. Here's how the attack probability scales:

  • 1 Player - Will not attack
  • 2 Players - 1% chance
  • 3 or 4 Players - 10% chance
  • 5 Players - 12.5% chance
  • 6 Players - 16.7% chance
  • 7 Players - 25% chance
  • 8 Players - 50% chance
  • 9 Players or more - 100% chance

The chance for the Coil Head to move is set a 100% chance to move in the time frame you set, this means it can move before or after this time. Default: 60 seconds
