Ether Scrap Retrieval Program
Objective: Secure valuable scrap items from planet, Investigate remains of the city.
Status: Reports indicate large amounts of scattered scraps within the housing located on Ether, located on a barren moon planet.
Terrain Analysis: Ether's abandoned cityscape is a maze of dilapidated skyscrapers and crumbling streets. Scan also indicate that collapsed buildings, overgrown vegetation, and unstable structures now define its landscape. Navigating Ether's terrain requires careful consideration and the constant awareness of potential hazards left in the wake of a sudden disappearance of a civilization.
Ether Housing Blueprints Analysis: Scans show one particular area on Ether housed a wealthy individual, creator of smart contracts on the planet. Housing Blueprints from Ethers database suggest large mansion like interiors.
Conclusion: Retrieving scraps while on the moon poses a multifaceted challenge, demanding meticulous planning and a highly skilled team. Success hinges on strategic navigation and proactive mitigation of UNKNOWN hazards.

One will go to members only in the discord. This moon is a smaller moon and is a moon we developed before ETHER! The second is going to be a public release something really diffrent compared to anything available on Thunderstore in terms of map design and layout we really went crazy with this one and strays away from the city theme!!!

FIXED what I believe may have been causing a little bit of performance issues for some players! (With the support of Lethal expansion core making the map run wayyyy smoother, all tree props had an animator script on them for some reason which is now removed oops!)

Player Death Barrier Changes / Alarm System Update / Moon Weather Fix
- FIXED weather like "lightning" not being able to kill the player because of an invisible barrier in the sky!
- CHANGED all outside map barriers to just be really really tall death barriers in order to not have a ceiling on the map. We also pushed them out a little more in order to allow normal flight over buildings and a little bit of the mountain terrain areas! BE ADVISED THE MOUNTAINS ARE DANGEROUS LMAO!
- ADDED an alarm by the ship! It is toggled off from the start unlike the alarms by the entrance! There is also an alarm switch below it located on the wall of the tunnel near the alarm behind the ship.
- Adjusted some sound effects to be more realistic and easier on the ears.
- Added a new secret area near the fire exit closest to the ship! Nothing is implemented yet besides the parkour to get to the area and the area itself. We're just setting up the area for the next update!
- Updated the Lethal Expansion dependancy to current version so mod managers would quit flagging ether for wanting the wrong version of Lethal Expansion!

Changed some of the new additions according to community feedback! / BUG FIXES
- FIXED doors teleporting you to diffrent dungeon entrances by making all doors one big interact trigger instead of two smaller interact triggers both leading to the same place! all with there own assigned exit teleportaion nodes! If your still experiencing desync it is another mod conflicting with lethal expansion!
- ADDED an alarm system for the map that the plauers can control with buttons scattered around!
- CHANGED the speakers playing the alarm to be more visible to the player and made them not as intrusive!
- ADDED lighting to areas that needed more lighting (2nd fire exit near ship)
- NERFED the easy way of walking on the buildings ledges to avoid having to walk across the death planks while attempting to take one of the rooftop pathways! ;)
- ADDED a giant tree THAT WILL KNOCK YOU OFF THE PARKOUR PLANKS BE ADVISED LMAO (trying to make the rooftop pathways harder sense they avoid ground enemys!)
- FIXED 2nd Fire Exits parkour to be more challenging and made some previous animations pop more!
- ADDED back another background tram animation.

Ether... Reimagined...
- Rebuilt the map Ether completly in a new world file still named the same but all confverted to remove junk in preperation for version 1.5.0 :)
- FIXED ALL ENEMY SPAWN ISSUES AND VALUES
- FIXED LOOT SPAWN AMOUNT TO BE MORE REWARDING FOR THE RISK YOU TAKE ON ETHER. (I need feedback on spawnrate of enenmy through your playthroughs please in order to make Ether as perfectly close to a vanilla map we can while implementing some awesome experieces!)
- FIXED THE LAG ISSUES - If you experience any problems while trying to play this version of Ether I can 100% confirm it is a mod conflict with the original Lethal Expansion and I'm choosing to stay with Lethal Expansion for now due to all the player components they include!
- FIXED DUNGEON AUDIO TO BE MORE AMBIENT (NEED FEEDBACK EVERY DUNGEON IS DIFFRENT)
- Changed all the wooden walk ways to look AMAZING (In my opinion, would love feedback!)
- Changed a lot of the core map design features to more guide new explorers of ether more towards the main entrance!
- Added some spooky audio to the world. (Let me know what you guys think!)
- Added all the original sounds back into ether just into a diffrent format for unity. However I removed a lot of the ones that werent really needed!
- Added some detail to the main building to make it stand out more.
- Added back a lot of the lights and ligthing animations in a nice smooth fashion!
- Added back all the train animations besides two to leave room in the map for other animations / future additions
- Added back the video for the ship while in space orbiting the planet (A BRAND NEW ONE)
- Removed the Easter Egg Soda Machine for now however it will be back in a future update just working on a new area for it ;)
- Removed the Ether Accounting building :( , However this had to be done for now because it was the culprite for all the user's having frame issues. Unity was spamming logs linked to some mesh files hopefully the map runs way smoother.
- Removed a lot of junk from the original map file when porting and managed to stay at a 21mb download and an insane mod load time compared to other moons!
- Changed the parkour jump beside the ladder closest to the ship to be wayyyyy more challenging in order to provoke players to only go this route if they have no other choice!
- Finally updated the thunderstore page to show more accurate photos of Ether.

MAJOR REDUCTION IN FILE SIZE
- Fixed weird audio glitch happening on most custom moons wont happen on ether anymore
- removed a lot of car lights and break lights however some will be back shortly with MAJOR improvements
- Was able to get the file size from 85mb down to like 8mb.
- Changed a lot of props around to kind of guide people toward main entrance.
- removed a lot of audio stuff however it will be returning just in a better implemented way that doesnt cause unity to go crazy lmao.

Bug Fixes / Enemy Spawn Rate Tweaks / Scrap Type and spawn rate Tweaks
- Fixed a lot of stuff to do with enemys!
- The moon is a lot harder now but with more rewarding loot items no longer just engines and bolts (ew)
- fixed the audio issues jesus you guys need to join the discord and tell me these things lol I hardly have time to just play the map over and over lmao.
- Need feedback on the monster spawn rate and loot spawn rate. try to keep in mind im aiming for this moon to be a little harder than normal. I have included 3 paths to avoid the streets so lets cook up something with that spawn value wise.
- More visual tweaks like fixing buildings and making the player not see so much clipping or just ugly prefab placement.
- More trees in the actual enviroment
- More random Sound effects
- Easter Egg should work completly fine now!

Lil Snippet of big update
- Been up for ever working on this one so im not gonna say to much but a lot has changed on ether.
- I have a big release planed for later today just wanted to get some rest before finishing up some things however I felt the stuff I've included in this patch are QOL stuff decor stuff.
- Would like to note that in this patch ive added Death barriers in all places they should be (more planned with this) Theres a lot more in this patch than that but figured that would be most noticable.

- FINALLY FIGURED OUT WHY DUNGEONS WERE LIT! ITS DARK NOW!
- ALL ENEMY AI HAS ROUTES. Masked enenmys can now follow you out of mansion and onto ground!
