[V64]BoxyBoo Update! Adds the creatures from Poppy Playtime as enemies in Lethal Company. It also adds 48 new Poppy Playtime themed scrap items including the Smiling Critters as plushies.

LethalPlaytime [1.3.6]

  • Resolved an issue where Huggy animations were not properly synchronized on clients compared to the host particularly during the jumpscare and roaring.
  • Resolved a major bug that could set the fear amount to absurdly high numbers on clients that would interpret strings differently. This was a cultural international issue with how strings are converted to floats and vice versa.

LethalPlaytime [1.3.3 - 1.3.5]

  • Fixing various reported issues like scare amounts being high on clients for Huggy and potential another issue preventing Boxy from spawning.
  • Increased the maximum rarity value you could set each creature to 4x its current value in case you wanted a more guaranteed experience seeing them.
  • Increased default rarity values for all creatures.
  • Reduced Boxy Boo's power level from 3 -> 2.5 to further increase odds of encountering him.

Boxy

  • Boxy will prioritize trying to grab someone versus a regular attack, increasing deadliness in extreme close quarters.
  • Completely changed how boxy will acquire and lose targets. In order to shake him off, you must exit his line of sight, stay out of it for some time, and finally not stay around where you last were because he will check that location for you.
  • Crank reversing intervals are now 2 seconds instead of 5 seconds.
  • Boxy will now have collision when being a box on the floor.
  • Boxy's interact handle trigger is no longer active when not in a box.
  • When boxy hits you it will trigger a slashing sound effect now.
  • Basic attack damage 35 -> 27

HuggyWuggy

  • Completely changed how Huggy will acquire and lose targets in his enrage state. Won't simply forget you exist sometimes when turning a corner.
  • Added a cooldown on the roar effect so that in situations that he can't reach but can see target players, he won't just continuously roar annoyingly.
  • Turning speed slightly increased.

Dogday

  • Dogday will stop chasing you after creating a fair distance between you and him and out of his line of sight.
  • The range to break the chase is greatly reduced if out of line of sight.

Miss Delight

  • The faster miss delight is, the faster her unfreeze meter will deplete, meaning less time unfrozen at higher speeds for a more consistent and fair time spent unfrozen overall.

LethalPlaytime [1.3.0]

Boxy Boo

  • A very strong AI that is extremely difficult to deal with.
  • Boxy Boo can be a box, fully popped out, or partial (just legs to walk around)
  • Playus music constantly and the speed is whether he is in a normal or highly energetic state.
Box State
  • In box form, he slowly spins his crank to wind himself up and increase energy.
  • Players can run up and use his crank (5s) to unwind him, preventing his emergence, but be careful because he can pop out early if he winds up too much energy!
  • Multiple players will not help, as the crank can only be effectively controlled by one player at a time.
  • If left alone, he will fully charge and emerge in the highly energetic state where he can use abilities.
Partial State
  • Just a pair of legs.
  • Enters this state after taking significant damage in any other exposed state.
  • Will retreat to re-enter box and recharge/recuperate.
Full State
  • Depending on how much energy he has, he can use a Leap and Armgrab ability. Pay attention to the song playing speed.
  • Leap will allow Boxy to cross short distances extremely quickly.
  • Armgrab makes him wind up his spring arm and launch it toward a player. If the arm connects he will grab and cause a jumpscare to that player.
  • Otherwise can attack regularly at close distance. He is extremely deadly due to combination of his leap and armgrab abilities.
  • Drains energy rapidly in the fully exposed state, after which he will collapse into a box on the ground and recharge once again.

Miss Delight

  • Can now unfreeze! She has an invisible meter that fills up after 6 seconds of freezing and caps at 25 seconds.
  • The chance to unfreeze increases as the meter fills.
  • When she breaks her freeze, the meter must drain completely before she can be frozen again.

Huggy Wuggy

  • Speed slightly increased in all phases.
  • Acceleration slightly increased.
  • Some minor tweaks to animation speeds to make them look better.

Dogday

  • Attack speed increased.

  • HuggyWuggy now has collision while sitting.
  • Reworked how Huggy finds a hiding spot.
  • Huggy will now turn towards you slightly while swinging.
  • Slightly extended his hit area up and down to help with ramps.
  • Resolved a major bug where Huggy would not kill you during the jumpscare, causing you to be locked in place.

Dogday

  • Dogday now angles up or down while attacking depending on your position relative to him.
  • Dogday is slightly faster while chasing.

Other

  • Dependency changed to latest Smiling Critters version.

Added Dogday as a brand new monster!

  • Added Dogday! A new creature that is of medium difficulty.
  • Custom animations for attacking and death!
  • Plays and sounds similar to the chase scene in Poppy Playtime, except he attacks instead of causing a jumpscare. True to the original game!
  • He can hear you from short distances away and is extremely difficult to shake off once aggroed unless you leave the facility or use another crewmate as bait.
  • Can be killed in about 7 hits with a shovel.

HuggyWuggy Changes

  • Wander time slightly reduced. (22s -> 19s)
  • Will attack for slightly less damage. (30 -> 27)

Added Huggy Wuggy as a brand new monster!

  • A monster with a unique personality that can sneak up on you, hide, and even Jumpscare you when he gets agitated enough.
  • After chasing for a while, he gets tired and needs to sit down to recover stamina. Take advantage of this and RUN!
  • Tons of audio effects including a roar that can be heard throughout the facility.
  • Only jumpscares under specific circumstances, not overpowered.
  • Typically can spawn after noon, and rarely before then.
  • Spawn Limit of 1, he is pretty strong!
  • He'll squeeze you until you pop!

Miss Delight updates.

  • Added growling sound effects similar to what you experience in the game.
  • She becomes increasingly agitated every time she misses, increasing her movement and attack speed until she is faster than a Coilhead.
  • She will also get slightly faster the further into the day it gets.
  • You will no longer be able to easily ignore her. Extremely tricky to shake off.
  • Adjusted spawn rarity slightly.
  • Increased base movement speed slightly.
