What?
Lethal Company features a sanity mechanic. The higher the value, the more 'insane' the player becomes.
This mechanic does two things depending on its value:
- Player prioritization when choosing which player gets haunted by the Ghost Girl entity
- Plays unique client-side ambient music and ambient sounds
The player gets more insane when:
- Not near other players
- Not listening to active walkie-talkie communication
- Witnesses unsettling events (deaths, Bracken sighting, enemies chasing etc.)
This mod simply maxes out the insanity value at all times.
Why?
When playing with other people, you might tend to create safe ingame scenarios where you hold hands with your teammates at all times, which effectively ensures that you never increase your insanity meter to any meaningful levels.
Which means, players fostering these kinds of scenarios miss-out on the awesome and disturbing unique sounds and ambient music that play exclusively when the players insanity reaches higher levels.
This mod allows you to experience that unique ambience without breaking your preferred playstyle in a group.
