Installation

With a mod manager like r2modman(recommended) or Thunderstore it should be just install and ready to be used. If you haven't installed CustomSounds before you'll probably need to open it and close it one time for the mod to initialize.

In case you don't use a mod manager the steps are:

  1. Install BepInEx inside the Lethal Company folder
  2. Open the game and if you installed BepInEx correctly you should see a terminal open with the game, that's the mod loader. Let it start normally and then close it, this should let BepInEx generate the folders needed to work, and the one we'll need inside is called plugins.
  3. Install CustomSounds and LCSoundTool by dragging and merging the BepInEx folder with the one inside Lethal Company folder.
  4. Open the game another time after installing those mods and close it when you get into the main menu, it's needed for the CustomSounds mod to initialize.
  5. Extract the zip and add the folder inside the plugin folder(the CustomSounds folder should be beside the .dll, idk if it's created already or not when going with this method but just in case)
  6. And finally, enjoy ^^

If you wanna be sure that the mod installed correctly start a normal game, open the terminal of the ship, and write CUSTOMSOUNDS LIST. You should see a list of sounds and it should load Frigthen[1-3].ogg If you see that than it means that the mod installed correctly.
