Algoritma Puncak (AI Overhaul)
This mod rewires every Lethal Company enemy brain: a global MoonSpawnDirector, shared behavior tree/blackboard stack, and a library of encounter tricks so each shift feels tense without mindless spam—no matter which version you’re on.
Why pick Algoritma Puncak?
- Single MoonSpawnDirector – The Harmony director inspects every moon (including modded maps), then applies tier-based indoor/outdoor caps, default weights, and a fallback profile when no specific policy matches. You get consistent pacing without hand-editing each planet.
- System-wide behavior stack – A shared behavior tree, blackboard, and sensor toolkit means any enemy (vanilla or modded) can plug into coordinated hunting, pack comms, territory logic, and escalation timers.
- Smarter ambush/stalking packs – Enemies with ambush or mimic roles (Snare Fleas, Spore Lizards, Masked, etc.) all reuse the same toolkit, so upgrades roll out across the roster instead of being locked to a single release.
- Holistic polish – Flowerman/Thumper omniscience, Eyeless Dog high-noise lanes, Baboon Hawk broadcast loops, and future balance tweaks are handled centrally through the director + behavior stack.
Core Features
- Unified AI Framework – Every enemy runs on the same behavior tree, blackboard, and sensor suite so coordination, chase logic, and memory share one foundation.
- Enemy Overhauls – Coilhead locks into pursuit once it sees a player, Flowerman holds stare-down duels then hides when watched, Hoarder Bug guards nests and prioritizes high-value loot, Bunker Spider reacts to web vibrations, Sand Worm hunts heat hotspots, MouthDog layers sound cues to hunt targets, and the playbook keeps expanding as more enemies get converted.
- Global MoonSpawnDirector – Sets per-moon spawn caps (5–11 indoor, 1–8 outdoor depending on tier) and automatically adjusts enemy weights based on risk level/interior style.
- Optional Instrumentation – Toggle
EnableInstrumentationin the config to print deep debug logs (target swaps, LOS, web events, nest escalation). Turn it off for normal play.
Configuration
- Tweak stalking distances, territory radius, lure cooldown, reactive aggression, and sensor limits via
BepInEx/config/Sen2.AlgoritmaPuncakMod.cfg. - Debug instrumentation can be toggled at any time; flip it on when you need behavioral traces without rebuilding the mod.
Compatibility
- Built for Lethal Company patch 45+ with BepInEx 5.4.
- Doesn’t rely on LC API or external hook frameworks, so it’s safe for most Thunderstore setups.
- Tested alongside Enhanced Monsters, SellBodiesFixed, Optimized Skinwalkers, etc.; the AI module is standalone and plays nicely with other mods as long as they don’t patch the exact same methods.
Enemies Currently Covered
- Snare Flea (CentipedeAI) – Ambush planner with low/high ceiling fallbacks.
- Spore Lizard (PufferAI) – Adaptive puff timing and escape paths based on player distance + noise.
- Masked (MaskedPlayerEnemy) – Stalking cycles, mimicry, and target selection driven by pack signals.
- Baboon Hawk – Pack coordination, adaptive ambush radius.
- Flowerman (Bracken) – Gradual stare-down, hide mode when players stop or look back.
- Coilhead – Never reverts to roaming until players leave the facility; retargets to the nearest victim.
- Hoarder Bug – Nest memory, value-weighted loot priorities, aggression spikes when the nest is disturbed.
- Sand Spider – Web alarms funnel victims and respawn webs based on choke-point queues.
- MouthDog & Eyeless Dog – Sound sensitivity scales with distance + mic volume; distant whispers no longer trigger them.
- Sand Worm, Blob, Thumper, Baboon, etc. – Sensor, pathing, and aggression tweaks so cross-species interactions feel alive.
Roadmap
- Finish BT/blackboard coverage for the remaining vanilla enemies (Barber, Maneater, Ghost Girl, Kidnapper Fox, Old Bird, Circuit Bees, Roaming Locusts, Tulip Snake, etc.).
- Add heatmap + telemetry visualizers for faster encounter tuning.
- Experiment with live voice-chat hooks to expand Eyeless Dog and allied pack stimuli.
- Prototype heat-signature sampling so MouthDog/Eyeless Dog can follow thermal trails, not just audio cues.
