Evil Player Mod for Lethal Company - Readme
Overview
The Evil Player Mod adds a new antagonistic role. This unique character features distinct abilities, altering gameplay dynamics significantly.
Characteristics
Appearance
- The Evil Player is easily recognizable in their full black suit.
Movement
- They move slower but have a higher sprint speed which lasts a short duration. emphasizing burst movements over endurance.
Death Mechanic
- Instead of dying, the Evil Player is teleported to a random vent, making them effectively immortal.
Abilities
Flight Capability
- The Evil Player can fly by jumping on air (toggle in config).
Teleportation Between Vents
- They can teleport between vents using the "Q" key.
Ship Interaction
- The Evil Player cannot enter the ship while it's landed; attempts to do so result in teleportation to a random vent.
Door Mechanics
- Unlocking Doors: Can unlock doors without a key.
- Ability to jam doors for a set amount of time (currently not functional).
Attack Mechanics
Range
- The Evil Player has a shorter attack range than a player wielding a shovel.
Hitting the evil player
- By default, hitting the evil player once results in immediate teleportation to a vent.
Gameplay and Configuration
Transformation
- Players become the Evil Player by picking up the clipboard item that spawns at the start of the game.
- !important note: only pick up clipboard when all players have joined.
Enemy Spawn
- By default no enemies spawn inside (configurable to allow inside spawns).
Customization
- Configurable options include movement speed, health, abilities, and enemy spawn settings.
