README

This is a test mod I made for my friends and I, but I'm assuming others would be interested.

Before anything else, understand this mod may or may not be compatible with other "escape music mods", and is designed to ONLY play escape music when the apparatus is removed.

For some reason, the installation on thunderstore simply borks, I don't know why or how to fix it, I have the folders aligned correctly but they refuse to install the right way.

A few simple changes in your files will fix this, and you should only have to do this once, or worst case whenever this mod is updated.

This is nothing dramatic, you literally just move a few files around and add a single line to a config. Getting to the files is harder than anything else.

Step 1: Get to your Appdata folder. You can do this in one of two ways, either follow this file path "C:\Users[YOURNAME]\AppData\Roaming[Thunderstore or r2modman folder]\LethalCompany\profiles[YOUR MOD PROFILE]\BepInEx\plugins\dogboys-PizzaNukeEscapeMusic

If you cannot find the Appdata folder, make sure you can see "Hidden files" by checking your View tab or dropdown menu in file explorer, and checking the box that says "hidden files"

Or, open the "run" program, either by pressing Windows + R, or by searching for it in your searchbar, and then putting in %appdata%

Step 2: Create two New Folders, and name them "DefaultScripts" and "DefaultMusic", exactly like that, minus the quotes.

Step 3: Move the .ogg files into the DefaultMusic folder, and move "Apparatus.json" "Classic.json" "Default.json" and "Lap2.json" into your DefaultScripts folder.

(Almost done!!)

Step 4: Boot your game up to the menu, and then close it, so you can generate config files. Once this is done, go to your mod manager's Config Editor tab, and then type in "pizza" in the search. You should see 5 configs. Edit/open the "bgn.pizzatowerescapemusic.cfg", and simply replace the text in the "scripts" box, which should say "Default" with the following: "Apparatus,Default"

Step 5: Type in "Fac" and you should see the facilitymeltdown.cfg, change the MusicVolume to 0, and set MusicPlaysOutside to False, then scroll down to MeltdownTime, and set it to 240. You may edit the other settings freely to your preference.

Step 6: Enjoy!! You're all done! If your friends sync up modpacks with you by using a code or file, they will not have to edit their configs.

However, they will unfortunately have to also manually fix their files, I think. Honestly I'm not 100% sure, you can try just doing it with the host if you want, but i can't guarantee it'll work.. :)

I hope you enjoy, and if this isn't compatible with other escape mods for whatever reason, if I have the will to do so I might see if i can find a fix.
