How to play BUCKSHOT ROULETTE:
ROLES: -One player (chosen as the most trusted with a shotgun) will act as the "dealer" and will have posession of the shotgun and shells throughout the game. -Any other players will be playing under the title of a "gambler" and will wait their turn on roulette.
PRE-GAME: -Buy a Shotgun and as many shells are required from the store using your starting allowance of 666. (Shotgun = 666, Ammo = free) -Have AT LEAST three players.
ROULETTE: -Two gamblers will sit at the table. On a coinflip, vote or any other type of democracy, a player will be chosen as the wagerer. -The wagerer can wager between 1 - 3 drops on themselves to remain the wagerer and increase their chances of killing the non- wagerer next turn. -The wagerer will wager a number of drops between 1 - 3 and have the dealer -- with the loaded shotgun -- disable the shotgun's safety and drop the shotgun pointed the shotgun at the player that isn't a wagerer, where two things can occur:
The shotgun doesn't misfire over the wagered drops and the wagerer loses their title which is given to the non-wagerer, where they will then only be able to wager more drops than the wagered drops before (i.e, if the last wagerer wagered 2 drops, the new wagerer's only option would be to wager 3 drops. However, if the last wagerer wagered three drops, then the new wagerer will not get a choice and the host will disable the shotgun's safety once more and drop the shotguned pointed at the former wagerer for 3 drops. Regardless if the shotgun misfires or not, the drops that are able to be wagered will be reset, returning to 1 - 3. The shotgun misfires and kills the non-wagerer, resetting the times that are able to be wagered (i.e, if the non-wagerer dies off a 2 drop wager, the wager resets to 1 - 3 drops).
-When a non-wagerer survives a wager, the wagerer will have their last wager wagered on themselves before handing their title off to
the non-wagerer.
NOTES: -Buckshot Roulette isn't designed with More Company in mind, but it is very likely possible to play it with More Company due to a shotgun and shells (which are free) being all an indefinite crew needs to play. -Buckshot Roulette is recommended to be played on a easy - intermediate planet due to time and the quota both being a non-issue. -I believe how chances of the shotgun misfiring when dropped is a 5% chance each drop with the safety off.
