No Spooky Ambient Sounds
Removes the random noises that play to spook you that don't affect gameplay. Note that most v50 sounds haven't yet been muted.
Installation
Manual without mod manager: Install dependencies, then merge this mod's BepInEx folder with your BepInEx folder. The muted sound files will be in BepInEx\plugins\CustomSounds\NoSpookyAmbientSounds
Etc
Feel free to add, remove or modify sound files from your installation as you desire, the files are in the aforementioned path. Just delete a file to reenable it, and to add a file you can likely just copy-paste one of the empty sound files in there and rename it to the one you want to mute. Finding out what the sound file names are is the tedious part, see below for info.
This guide (not made by me) is helpful to know how to make changes to this sound pack, or to make one just like this: https://github.com/milleroski/Lethal-Company-Sound-Modding-Guide
The guide recommends in BepInEx.cfg to set HideManagerGameObject = true
, but it seems to work without that and the docs for LCSoundTool and CustomSounds don't mention it, and BepInEx discourages changing this.
This mod will cause error spam in the BepInEx console, sorry about that. Not a bad thing aside from making the console harder to read, but maybe I'll fix it in an update some day...
