LethalUtilitiesV2 Public Testing
My public testing version of LU that can be ran alongside the original release, if preferred. I'd HIGHLY recommend joining my Discord before trying to use this (public testing) mod, it is NOT for regular people... yet.
Overview
This is a complete overhaul of my original LethalUtilities mod. Soon a completely stable release with config syncing and many more features will release to the original listing. THE GAME WILL TAKE LONGER TO LOAD UNTIL I ADD THE PROPER CODE TO REDUCE THESE LOAD TIMES RELIABLY.
Manual Installation
- Setup BepInEx (If not done already, video by TheViperian provided.)
- Download and extract the latest version.
- Place the folder kyxino-LethalUtilities in the BepInEx/plugins directory.
- Run the game once for configs to load.
- You can find the configs at BepInEx/configs, from there you can edit many different parameters of the game, but for them to apply/execute, you will have to enable each one using the ConfigEnabled value.
- You can now launch the game. (Note: If playing with friends, they will need to install this mod and have the same settings as you for most of it to work properly.)
Notice
NOTHING IS CHANGED FROM THE BASE GAME, YOU MUST DO THE CHANGES IN THE CONFIGS YOURSELF, ANY CHANGES MAY INTERFERE WITH SIMILAR TASKED MODS. I will be adding many new features and allowing syncing between the host and players very soon, so just know everyone needs the exact same settings for now until I add syncing if you want it to work properly. Config files are extremely likely to change.
Features
All are base game defaults, enable/change in configs. (THESE ARE DISABLED BY DEFAULT, SET ConfigEnabled TO APPLY CHANGES FOR EACH FILE AND _ModifiersEnabled FOR EACH SECTION TO APPLY.)
- ApplyConfig will apply the entire config.
- OnlyLoadSettings will apply only the categories/variables in the LoadSettings list.
- Disabled will not apply any settings within the config. (Note that it will still run code in relation to those values as I'm planning on live-editing.)
Upcoming Features
- Server Host and Player Config Syncing
- In-game Customization Menu (Can save and apply changes from in-game, along with viewing values and everything, ESPECIALLY transferring those settings to the other players while the round is active.)
Known Issues
- Mod gets pretty funky if other players do not have the mod.
