About this mod

Makes keys additive, so each key gives you a 10% chance of opening a chest for free. At 10 keys, chests will be free every time.

Overview

Keys will now give you a flat 10% chance each to open a chest for free. E.g. 5 keys will open a chest for free 50% of the time, and 10 keys will open a chest for free every time.

Currently, free chest chance from keys is calculated with a binomial distribution formula, with each key adding 10% to the probability of opening a chest for free, with diminishing returns. Instead of 9 keys giving you a 90% chance of opening a chest, the actual chance of opening a chest for free will be about 61.3% with 9 keys. This mod will make it so 9 keys will give you a 90% chance of opening a chest for free.

Once you reach 10 keys, the key item will automatically be removed from the loot pool (no need to waste a banish). If one of your keys are removed and you have less than 10 keys again, the key will be added to the loot pool again.

Installation (BepinEx)

• Install BepinEx 6.0+
• Download IntuitiveKeys-BepinEx.dll
• Place the file in your game files at: The folder with Megabonk.exe/BepInEx/plugins
• You're good to go! :)
