What is this?

Look, we all know Amog. That suspicious red bean who somehow became a playable character despite having the combat prowess of a wet napkin. While other characters are out here with fancy abilities and actual stats, Amog just... exists.

Not anymore.

Better Amog turns everyone's favorite impostor from "literally why would you pick this" to "wait, that's illegal."

This mod is about creating a balanced experience for Amog that is still challenging and fun. Don't like my changes? Do your own with the provided config!

Thunderstore Installation

1. Click download on Better Amog from within the Thunderstore client
2. Start the game

Manual Installation

1. Install BepInEx IL2CPP if you haven't already
2. Download MEGABONK_AMOG_REWORK.dll
3. Put it in BepInEx/plugins/
4. Launch game once to generate config file
5. Edit BepInEx/config/plutoforever_BetterAmog.cfg to your liking
6. Restart and witness the birth of a god

Configuration

The config file is organized into helpful categories because even Amog deserves some organization in his life:

1. Survival Stats

"Stop dying challenge (impossible)"

• MaxHealth - Finally have more than 3 HP
• HealthRegen - Regenerate health like you regenerate excuses for losing
• Shield - Protection (something Amog never had)
• Armor - Reduce damage (radical concept, I know)
• Plus more ways to not die immediately!

2. Weapon Stats

"Your attacks might actually do something now"

• Projectiles - Default: 2 extra projectiles (because one was definitely not enough)
• DamageMultiplier - Make numbers go brrr
• AttackSpeed - Attack faster than your teammates can spam "gg"
• ProjectileBounces - Ricochets for people who can't aim

3. Damage Stats

"Critical hit? More like critically important"

• CritChance - Finally land those big hits
• CritDamage - Make those big hits actually matter
• Lifesteal - Steal life like Amog steals oxygen
• FireDamage, IceDamage, LightningDamage - Elemental damage for elemental depression

4. Movement Stats

"Gotta go fast (for once)"

• MoveSpeedMultiplier - Default: 20% faster (still not fast enough to escape your problems)
• ExtraJumps - Double jump like it's 2004
• JumpHeight - Get some actual air time

5. Economy Stats

"Get rich or die trying"

• Luck - Because you need it
• GoldIncreaseMultiplier - Make it rain
• XpIncreaseMultiplier - Level up faster than your opponents can say "nerf this"
• ShopPriceReduction - Discounts, the only thing Amog deserves

6. Special Stats

"Miscellaneous power-ups for your miscellaneous character"

• Holiness - Become an angel (ironic for an impostor)
• Wickedness - Or embrace the darkness
• PowerupChance - More powerups than a Mario Kart race

7. Difficulty Modifiers
