README

Nine Sols Battle Memories Debuff Yi

A Nine Sols mod that removes some or all of the buffs/upgrades Yi normally has in Battle Memories mode, for additional challenge.

Specifically, this mod has the following settings you can individually enable and disable:

  • Remove Tai-Chi Kick
  • Remove Air Dash
  • Remove Charged Strike
  • Remove Cloud Leap
  • Remove Unbounded Counter
  • Remove Azure Bow
  • Remove All Jades
  • Remove All Pipe Vials
  • Remove All Health Upgrades
  • Remove All Other Skills

(if you aren't familiar with Nine Sols mods, the easiest way to edit mod settings is to add the BepinExConfigurationManager mod, then press F1 in-game)

If you want to buff the bosses in Battle Memories mode, see Gogas1's BossChallengeMod.

Known Issues

  • After using this mod, disabling the mod will not revert Yi's debuffs and restore his normal Battle Memories state. This is because Nine Sols implements its Battle Memories mode as a 5th save slot, so many edits are persisted automatically.

    • The quickest way to restore Yi's normal BM state is to disable all of the "Remove X" settings
    • If for some reason that doesn't work, the most thorough way is to go into your Nine Sols saves and delete the "saveslot4" folder (the 5th slot is "4" because they're zero-indexed). This will force the game to regenerate the save from scratch the next time you enter BM mode.
  • The Skills menu UI gets very confused when skills are bulk enabled and disabled like this mod does. I'm pretty sure this is just UI weirdness, and the effects of having or not having the skills are working fine.
