Better Stats

The author got tired of memorizing item stats and comparing them manually, so he created a UI that shows the difference between the items being compared.

Better Stats is a work-in-progress mod for PATAPON 2 that helps you compare equipment while browsing gear in Headquarters.

Usage

Open the Headquarters equipment menus. You pick one item manually – it becomes the baseline – and as you hover over other items with automatic selection active, the overlay shows the stat difference between the hovered item and that baseline. The UI appears automatically while you stay in Headquarters and hides again once you leave.

Copy BetterStatsMod.dll into your game's plugin folder: {Game_folder}\BepInEx\plugins

Known Issues

• Selecting items too quickly can make the selection menu disappear or suddenly switch to a different unit.
• Sometimes the baseline item doesn’t stick on the first try and requires repeating the initial selection.
• Auto-select kicks in while you’re trying to pick a mask, so you may need to fight it a little before selection sticks :D

Hopefully these will be cleaned up in a future update.
