🧭✨ Mystic Cheaters Compass

Transform the dev tool "Cheat Compass" into a mystical one-time use item that warps you and all other players in your party to the next biome. 🏔️

I suggest using PEAK Luggage Items to control spawning of item! Id personally set it to only 1-5 weight for rarirty and only in LuggageCursed and RespawnCoffin for spawn pools to resemble mystical/mythic items I ALSO suggest using PEAK Tool Belt so someone has a flare at the PEAK since they may not spawn! IF HOST ONLY, above two suggestions will work or just having item spawner to prevent other people from requiring tool belt mod for flares and anyone else from getting a spawned cheaters compass!

HOST ONLY vs ALL CLIENTS VS CLIENT SIDE

• Can be used with Host Only BUT that means host will need to be the one to actually use the compass or else it will default to regular use which warps straight to alpine/mesa.
• If used in host only host should use the compass and noone else or else above mention AND if warping results in spawning in the sky, only host will get granted temporary invicibility which may result in everyone else getting full injury from fall
• ALL Clients prevents both things stated above, everyone will get invincibilty and anyone can use compass
• If only a client has mod, it might still warp everyone but the client will only be granted correct usage and invincibilty same as top 2 stated things for host only
• clients with mod and noone else may not be able to spawn the item unless already cheating by using an item spawner

WHY BETA?:

• Progression tracking is broken so after use, flares may not spawn at PEAK to signal helicopter. Will have to most likely carry a flare with you!

• Sometimes may spawn in sky above warp location

✨ FEATURES

🧭 Mystical Compass Transformation

• One-Time Use - Compass is consumed after each use
• Mystical Tag - Marked as a mystical item with special properties
• Progressive Warping - Warps to the next biome in sequence (Tropics → Alpine/Mesa → Caldera → The Kiln)
• Safe Progression - Forward-only movement prevents going backwards
• Caldera Protection - 5-second invincibility when warping to Caldera to prevent fall damage (For some reason when testing Id spawn in the sky, not sure if this is the case for every generation)

🎯 Smart Biome Progression

• Tropics (Segment 1) - Starting point for progression
• Alpine/Mesa (Segment 2) - Second biome in sequence
• Caldera (Segment 3) - Third biome with safety protection
• The Kiln (Segment 4) - Final destination in the sequence
• No Backtracking - Cannot warp to previous segments or starting areas

🎮 How It Works

Compass Usage

1. Find the Compass - Spawns through other mods typically
2. Use Once - Compass is consumed after warping
3. Progressive Warping - Always warps to the next biome in sequence
4. Safe Travel - Protected from fall damage in Caldera with 5 second invincibility

Biome Sequence

• Current Location → Next Destination
• Shore → Tropics
• Tropics → Alpine/Mesa
• Alpine/Mesa → Caldera
• Caldera → The Kiln
• The Kiln → The Kiln (stays at final destination, cant warp to PEAK for some reason)

🚀 Installation

Method 1: Thunderstore Mod Manager (Recommended)

1. Download and install Thunderstore Mod Manager
2. Search for "Mystic Cheaters Compass"
3. Click "Install with Mod Manager"
4. Launch PEAK through the mod manager

Method 2: Manual Installation

1. Ensure you have BepInEx installed for PEAK
2. Download the latest release
3. Place the tony4twentys-Mystic Cheaters Compass.dll file in your BepInEx/plugins folder
4. Start the game
5. The plugin will automatically activate when you enter the game

🎯 Future Plans

• Fix progression tracking
• Fix PEAK warping
• Fix spawning in air
• Prevent client side only by using host handshake method where if host doesnt have mod it wont even work at all!
