Quick Restart 🔁 for PEAK (2025)

🧭 Overview

1. By default launching the game will skip splash/pretitle and the automatically start multiplayer mode (auto selecting multiplayer mode might mess with voice chat but its unconfirmed please let me know if you experience this)
2. You can then pres F10 and the 'Ascent Kiosk' button to select an Ascent and seed if using TerrainRandomiser
3. Once a run is started you can use 'Quick Restart' on the menu to quickly restart the chosen seed or daily generation at the current Ascent level you had chosen.
4. You can also use 'Random Seed Start' to get a new random seed from 'TerrainRandomiser' instead of restarting the same one during a run similarly to 'Quick Restart' or use 'Daily Seed Start' to go back to the daily generation instead of restarting with seed from 'Terrain Randomiser'.
5. 'Return to Airport' will allow you to go back to the airport at anytime during a run!
6. There is now a config to bring back the hotkeys instead of using the menu! - requested by Dani in discord!

Starting, Restarting and Returning to the Aiport all work in multiplayer bringing your friends along for the ride...or crash!

REMINDER All clients need TerrainRandomiser mod for related options to work in multiplayer.

PAIR WITH ANOTHER MOD I MADE If you would like to customize your character but not go back to the airport to do so! You can use my Plane Crash Passports mod to do just that! Now you can also use my mod PEAK Tool Belt if the host also has the mod to get your passport back at anytime during a run!

• 💀 Quick Restart After Wipe: Use 'Quick Restart' after all players die to restart the island immediately — No need to press “Next” or return to the airport.
• 🔁 Restart Mid-Ascent: Use the 'Quick Restart' button at any time during an active run to return to the start.
• 🛬 Return to Aiport Use 'Return to Airport' button to return back to the airport at anytime.
• 🧍 Multiplayer Safe: Automatically waits for Photon network sync and player readiness to prevent desyncs and duplicate interactables.
• 🔧 Fully Configurable: Change the keybind and restart delay via BepInEx config.
• ♻️ If TerrainRandomiser mod is active, pressing 'Random Seed Start' will start a new random seed.
• ✔️ If TerrainRandomiser mod is active, pressing 'Quick Restart' the last seed and not select a new one.
• ❌ If TerrainRandomiser toggle is unchecked at kiosk, 'Random Seed Start' and 'Restart' will simply revert to restarting/starting the daily seed
• ⏩ If solo (offline or alone in hosted lobby), the timer (default 5 seconds) is ignored

🧪 Known Limitations/Issues

• Only the MasterClient (host) can trigger restarts.
• Potential for desync causing phantom duplicates of interactable objects on during the ascent. Try increasing the 'RestartDelaySeconds" in config.
• Getting stuck in loading ascent (non-host players). Try increasing the 'RestartDelaySeconds" in config.

🧩 Installation

1. Download the .zip from Thunderstore.
2. Extract it into your BepInEx/plugins/ folder.
3. Launch the game. The mod auto-generates a config file.
4. Edit the config file if desired and relaunch the game.
