🔥 Warming Lava

A mod for PEAK that reduces cold affliction when players are near any lava source.

🌋 Features

• 🧊 Anti-Cold Mechanic – Reduces cold status over time near lava rivers.
• 🧠 Smart Biome Detection – Only activates in the Alpine biome, stops when you reach The Caldera. Ascents 1-4
• ☀️🌑 Smart Day/Night Cycle Detection – When on Ascent 5+, activates warming from lava sources at night tropics and onward.
• ⚙️ Configurable – Change reduction rate and distance in the config file.
• 🛠️ Optimized Performance – Uses a coroutine instead of Update() and only runs when needed.

⚙️ Configuration

After launching the game once with the mod installed, a config file will be generated at:

BepInEx/config/tony4twentys.Warming_Lava.cfg

You can customize:

• ColdReductionPerSecond – Cold reduction per second (default: 0.1)
• WarmthRadius – Detection radius around lava (default: 8.0 units)

📦 Installation

1. Download Warming_Lava.dll
2. Drop it into your BepInEx/plugins/ folder
3. Launch the game and warm up!
