TruckLoot

Description

TruckLoot lets you keep your valuable items between levels by saving them in your truck. Only the host needs to have the mod installed. No more losing your prized possessions when changing locations - items stay exactly where you left them in the truck, making item collection and management more immersive and rewarding!

Installation

Requirements

• BepInEx 5.4.x or later
• REPOLib 1.4.2 or later (recommended, but mod will work without it)

Installation Steps

1. Make sure BepInEx is installed
2. Install REPOLib (optional but recommended for full functionality with modded items)
3. Extract the mod archive into your BepInEx/plugins folder
4. Launch the game and enjoy persistent items in your truck!

How It Works

1. Place valuable items inside your truck
2. When changing levels, TruckLoot will save the state of those items
3. Upon returning to the truck in a new level, your items will appear exactly as you left them
4. If items somehow end up in invalid positions, TruckLoot will automatically find safe positions for them

Mod Behavior

• Items are only saved if they are inside the truck when you leave a level
• Items are not saved when failing a level or entering an arena/boss level
• The mod automatically handles multiplayer sessions, ensuring items appear for all players
• TruckLoot prevents items from spawning inside objects or clipping through floors

Compatibility

This mod should be compatible with most other mods as it only affects the persistence of valuable items. It works in both single-player and multiplayer.

REPOLib Compatibility

TruckLoot has special integration with REPOLib to support modded items.

Known Issues

• Some items still glitch out of the truck, avoid placing near the truck walls/edges for now.
