Adds Pennywise the Dancing Clown as a terrifying new enemy. A red balloon will stalk you... and popping it SAVES you by stopping him from showing up!
Changelog
Update 1.1.0 * RNG Mercy: Pennywise now has a 50/50 chance to Bluff during his attack phase. He might rush you only to stop short and vanish instead of killing you.
- Better Balloon Physics: The Balloon now floats slightly to the side of the player rather than directly on top, making it much easier to hit and pop.
- Config Fixes: Spawn Chance config now properly supports a slider (0.0 to 1.0) in mod managers.
Note: As with ALL of my enemies: Pennywise will NOT show in Spawnmanagers etc. I do NOT rely on RepoLib and I control when it spawns. If you want the enemy OFF, toggle it off in your mod manager.

How It Works
IT (Pennywise) has a chance (Default 15%) to spawn on a level.
- The Balloon: If chosen, a Red Balloon will spawn and float near a random player (it now keeps a small distance so you can hit it easier).
- The Pop: If the balloon touches a player or is hit, it pops. Popping the balloon is the only way to save yourself. It disrupts the connection and prevents Pennywise from manifesting.
- How to POP a Balloon: Hold a Valuable or an Item and HIT IT!
- The Stalking: If the balloon is not popped and lingers too long, Pennywise will begin to haunt the Target. He will appear in the distance, staring at you and playing unsettling sounds, only to vanish after a few seconds.
- The Kill (Or Bluff?): After he has toyed with you a couple of times, his next appearance will be his attack run. He will scream and rush the player at high speed.
- 50% Chance: He kills you instantly.
- 50% Chance: He Bluffs; rushing right up to your face but stopping short, laughing, and vanishing.
Configuration
You can adjust the following settings in the config file (fully compatible with Configuration Managers):
- SpawnChance: The probability (Slider 0.0 to 1.0) that Pennywise will appear in a level. Default is 0.15 (15%).
- Volume: Master volume control for Pennywise sounds (Slider 0.0 to 1.0).
