Sanity_Mod (v0.7.1 Beta)

What it does

Step into REPO and watch your mind unravel. The Sanity Mod tracks your character’s mental state and warps reality as your sanity declines. Walls might breathe, shadows will flicker, lights will flash, and the world itself feels alive with hallucinations.

Your sanity bar grows and decays dynamically:

• Being alone increases insanity over time.
• Being inside a truck calms you, reducing insanity gradually.
• Having friends nearby slows or reverses insanity buildup.
• Seeing enemies causes sudden spikes in insanity, while proximity to multiple enemies increases pressure continuously.

As insanity rises, post-processing effects intensify (vignette, grain, chromatic aberration, lens distortion, desaturation), and hallucinations spawn around you (shadows, flashes, periphery flickers, camera nudges).

• Sanity Bar UI shows your current sanity level. Fully configurable via BepInEx config:
  • Position, size, and color of the bar.
  • Insanity thresholds for hallucinations and effects.
  • Rates of sanity gain/loss.

Notes

• Sanity grows faster when alone, slower if friends are nearby, and decreases while in a truck.
• Everything is editable via config for personal tuning.
• This is a Beta release — expect potential tweaks and additions.
