MyOrbs

Adds an Upgrade System, Upgraded Enemies, and Custom Orbs to REPO.

New

  • Health Packs are now upgradable (only 2 tiers for the moment).
  • Fixed some bugs with the saving system.

🚨 Important! (NEW)

  • There is currently a saving system in the mod that will save your weapon upgrades, but only for the host.
  • Upgrades will automatically save after a level is completed.
  • Upgrades will not automatically reset after failing a level and going back into the Main Menu or Lobby Menu!
  • You can edit the config to change them back to 0 whenever you want to reset them (Host Only).
  • You can also press 'J' whenever you're in the Main Menu or Lobby Menu to reset them to 0 (Host Only).
  • It is recommended to change them back to 0 when you fail a level, otherwise, errors may occur.
  • The config will only get created when the first level is completed!

⚠️ Before Playing!

  • Make sure everyone has the mod installed when playing for a clean experience.
  • The mod will still work without everyone having it! But only the host and the clients that have the mod installed will actually see the upgrades, enemies and the custom orbs added.
  • The stats for the enemies, weapons and orbs will still apply as long as at least the host has the mod installed!

🛠️ The Upgrade System

  • The Upgrade System can be used by pressing 'H', it can only be used when you're in the Lobby of the game (after the shop) or in the level directly.

  • Final version will contain all the weapons in the game with at least 10 different upgrades for each weapon.

  • Every upgrade it's gonna cost money, you can see the amount needed when trying to make an upgrade.

  • Additionally, every upgrade has a chance to fail, you can also see that when trying to upgrade, near the cost of the upgrade.

  • Every upgrade is gonna boost the weapon in some way, making it stronger from the default one.

  • The upgrades have different tiers, higher tiers will have more damage, but are gonna be more expensive and less likely to actually get.

  • You won't be able to get a lower tier upgrade after getting a higher tier, since that will be a waste of money.

  • Every upgrade is gonna have special effects and particles.

  • At the moment, these are the upgrades currently in this version:

  • Handgun (Blue, Pink), Explosive Grenade (Blue, Pink), Frying Pan (Blue, Pink),

  • Mine Explosive (Blue, Pink).

👾 The Upgraded Enemies

  • Upgraded Enemies are upgraded versions of the default enemies in REPO.

  • They come with special effects and are more powerful than the original ones.

  • They mostly have more health and also some additional stats depending on the enemy.

  • The chance of getting a special enemy will be 50/50.

  • That means 50% of the time you're gonna get a default one and 50% of the time you're gonna get an Upgraded Enemy.

  • After you get an Upgraded Enemy, the tier of it is gonna be random, higher tiers are gonna have a less likely chance to spawn, since they're more powerful.

  • For example, the default Duck is gonna be tier 0 in this mod, a tier 1 is gonna be the Blue Duck, tier 2 is gonna be the Pink Duck and more tiers are gonna appear in the next versions.

  • Final version will contain at least 10 tiers for every enemy.

  • At the moment, these are the Upgraded Enemies that are gonna spawn in your level: Blue Duck (tier 1), Pink Duck (tier 2).

🔵 Custom Orbs

  • Custom Orbs are special type of orbs that are dropped from the Upgraded Enemies.

  • Usually, the enemies will drop the corresponding color.

  • For example, a Blue Duck will always drop a Blue Orb, a Pink Duck will drop a Pink Orb, etc...

  • These orbs are usually worth 50% more for every Tier of enemies.

  • Handle them with care though, they behave just like the normal ones, they're only more valuable.

  • At the moment, these are the custom orbs that are gonna spawn currently: Blue Orb, Pink Orb.

🏛️ Additional Features

  • The mod also contains some additional features to make the game more fair, more fun, more balanced with the new changes and more chaotic at the same time.
  • Unfortunately, these features can't be turned off at the moment, since the mod is not finished.
  • When the mod will be fully done and ready for version 1.0.0, the features will be able to be toggled on or off.

🟢 All Orbs Have a Higher Value by Default

  • All orbs spawned by the enemies, will be multiplied by 3x currently.
  • So if an orb is worth $2k, the new value is gonna be $6k.
  • This applies for the Custom Orbs as well.

🟢 All items in the shop are gonna be discounted by 50%

  • As the title says, every item on every shop from every level is gonna be discounted by 50%.
  • This way you're gonna afford more weapons and upgrades to have a higher chance of survival.

🟢 A lot more enemies by default!

  • By default, there are gonna be more enemies in the level by default.
  • The actual numbers are: Tier 1: 8, Tier 2: 8, Tier 3: 8. The values might change in the future.
  • This also scales with how long you can keep up.
  • Every completed level is gonna raise the enemies cap by 1.
  • That means, if you complete 10 levels, the number of monsters is gonna go up by 10.
  • The tier of the enemy is gonna be chosen randomly.
  • Currently there is a 35% chance for Tier 1, 35% chance for Tier 2, 30% chance for Tier 3, the values might change in the future.

📦 Installation

Install using:

  • Thunderstore App (recommended)
  • OR manually place "feedmore-MyOrbs" folder into the BepInEx plugins folder.
