Description

This mod transforms your vision into a sonar/sound-based one, mimicking echolocation. Rather than relying on standard sight, you perceive your surroundings through sound. This does not mean you are fully blind, but it drastically alters the way you play RUMBLE.

Structures and players are "seen" via the sound they emit, meaning everything you "see" is delayed and isn't where it actually is.

Prominent Features

  • Completely changes the game's visuals
  • Players now create clones when walking or performing poses. These clones represent the player's position at a single point in time, which means that your goal is going to be to guess where they're going to be in the future to land a hit on them.
Screenshot1
  • Poses done on structures (Straight, Uppercut, Kick) create clones of them, each clone is more delayed than the previous one. Whatever you see with your eyes doesn't actually mean that your parry/stomp timings will be on time.
Screenshot1
  • Explode emits sound at all times, making it easier to see and having the ability to sonar for surrounding structures and players in a nearby range. EXPLODE, HOLD and FLICK show the real position of the structure WITHOUT any delay.
Screenshot1
  • Your Ungrounded Hold and Flick are always visible to you since you can "feel" it, while enemy Ungrounded Hold and Flick are not.
Screenshot1
  • Grounded Hold is visible at all times to you and your opponent. Moving the grounded structure emits sounds, thus sonar-ing for nearby structures or players.
Screenshot1
  • Landing from a jump triggers Seismic Slam (a feature proposed by Rumble Bee). This move sonars the entire map making you able to see every structure and player currently present on the map. This is a high-risk, high-reward move and should be used with caution (no one wants to catch a grounded wall to the face here right?)

Notes

The mod works when any of these conditions are met:

  1. Friends-only queue
  2. Both players have the mod installed
  3. Public/Private Park (You don't have to be the host)

Your opponent's health bar is located right above yours

Unsupported mods

  1. Any player or map skin mods (BeltSkins, ButteredLilly-ButteredLillys_Skin_Manager, CharredPark)
  2. FashionableStructures (The accessories might float around at all times, not recommended to use)
  3. Grass Enabler (Never tested it but it shouldn't work either way)
  4. CustomMultiplayerMaps (Custom maps do not have blind variants to them since the process of making one is manual and not done automatically by the mod)

Known working mods/Supported mods

  1. ArmSlider
  2. MatchInfo
  3. DamageNumbers
  4. LoaderSkipper
  5. Any gym-related mods (the mod does not work in the gym)

the trailer and gifs were recorded in older versions of the mod, some features may have slight differences in how they look. What you see in the trailer and gifs is still the way the mod looks, just with minor fixes
