Impact Hammer Rework
It turns out EnragedOne beat me to this by about 45 minutes. Also check out their version.
Based on Broccolite's rework idea, and ideas mentioned in their videos. Alongside their rework idea, the following changes have been implemented:
- Firing a Shotgun will reduce the Impact Hammers' shared heat
- Creating a shockwave/explosion with the Pump Charge Impact Hammer increases the shared heat based on how many pumps were used (maximum of 3)
- Pump Charge Impact Hammer's first pump's damage is reduced from 3.5 to 1.5 (these values in the config are multiplied by 10, as that's the scale the game uses for explosion damage)
- As heat increases, the pitch of the hammer's hit sound increases. For clarity, the variation in pitch is also reduced
Scores will not be saved while using this mod, as it modifies gameplay mechanics.
Most changes can be disabled by setting their respective setting to 0, but two changes are a bit more complicated:
- To disable the rising pitch, set "Current Heat Pitch Multiplier" to 0, "Max Pitch" to 3, and "Pitch Variation" to 0.2
- To disable the Pump Charge first pump damage nerf, change "First Pump Damage" to 35
