Museum Weapons Cheat
Adds a cheat to the cheats menu which gives the player the unused credits museum weapons outside of the credits museum. Also comes with several additions, changes, and bug fixes (which can be turned off if wanted).
This includes:
- Icons for the Beamcutter and Black Hole Cannon (and the option to change their variant colors, with several icon versions to choose from. To match vanilla, use the question mark icon and the red variant, and disable icon glow)
- Added light to the hit points of Beamcutter beams
- Added sound effects for the Beamcutter
- Beam drones despawning when respawning at a checkpoint
- Controller rumble support, with customization options
- Better No Weapon Cooldown compatibility for the Black Hole Cannon (can shoot multiple black holes at once)
- The ability to prevent black holes from compressing malicious faces to avoid janky behaviour (they still take damage from the lightning)
- Several bug fixes (listed below)
The bug fixes include:
- Gave the Beamcutter its own hitters, replaced the Black Hole Cannon's vanilla hitter, and added a second hitter to it, which allows them to grant style points and interact with weapon freshness. This also fixes the "+DISRESPECT Beam" bug as the Beamcutter beam would previously use the last damage source's hitter, which in the case of arms would spam the +DISRESPECT style bonus and parry attacks (if it was the feedbacker). Alongside this change, 2 style bonuses have been added to the Beamcutter (listed in the Style Bonuses section below)
- The Beamcutter no longer accepts primary fire input while the game is paused
- You can no longer infinitely spawn beam drones while dual wielding Beamcutters (the dual wielded Beamcutters would previously "forget" their beam drones if swapped off of). This was done by reworking how beam drones work with dual wield. Now, only one beam drone will spawn, but its beam will do damage 1 + dual-wield-powerups-in-use time(s)
- Gave the Black Hole Cannon a WeaponIdentifier, which allows it to be dual wielded
New Style Bonuses and General Style Gain:
- +DICED -- 90 style points -- granted if you kill an enemy with either the primary Beamcutter beam or the secondary (beam drone) one, and both the primary and secondary beam have hit the enemy in the past second
- +SLICED -- 60 style points -- granted if you kill an enemy with the secondary (beam drone) Beamcutter beam, and if +DICED will not be granted for this enemy
- +COMPRESSED (unchanged vanilla style bonus) -- variable style points -- granted if a black hole absorbs a dead enemy's corpse. Style gain starts at 50 and decreases by 10 for each corpse absorbed, for a maximum of 150
- Beamcutter beam damage tick -- 4 style points
- Black hole targeted lightning damage tick -- 2 style points per enemy
This mod includes 2 PluginConfigurator presets if you want to use them, "Recommended" having the default settings, and "Vanilla" having everything set to as closely match vanilla as possible (only difference is the addition of a cheat menu bind)
